... and your remaining 2018 Sweet 16 teams by conference are...

Big XII: KU, KSU*, TT, WVU (4)
ACC: Duke, Clemson, FSU*, Syracuse (4)
B1G: Michigan*, Purdue (2)
Big East: Villanova
MVC: Loyola-Chicago*
SEC: UK, TAMU (2)
MW: Nevada
WCC: Gonzaga

*Advanced to the Elite 8

Here's hoping the next update to this list still includes WVU, Texas Tech and -- most importantly of all -- good ol' KU!

I'd really like to see the Big 12 have half of the teams in the elite 8. Unfortunately, if that happens, WVU plays Tech so one will be eliminated. Nevertheless, 4 of 8 in the elite 8, or the potential for 3/4 of the final four would really elevate the status of the conference nationally.

The east-coast press often puts on their regional bias and acts like the ACC and SEC are the only basketball conferences, despite the stats saying otherwise. If the Big 12 does well tonight, it'll certainly be a topic of conversation.
