Only 7 of the top 16 seeds remain

These are the 9 that were eliminated:

#1 – UVA and Xavier
#2 – Cinci and UNC
#3 – Tennessee and Mich St.
#4 – Auburn, Wichita St, and Arizona

And on the post game show tonight, they noted that this is the first time that a region had none of its top 4 seeds make it to the Sweet 16. This happened in the South with UVA, Cinci, Tenn, and Arizona all losing before the first weekend was complete.
