Unbelievable as to what happened this weekend.

22 point deficit wiped out, Nevada wins, Cincinnati loses.

Down double digits with 7 minutes. FSU wins, Xavier loses.

Stunning loss in humiliating fashion. UMBC wins, Virginia loses.

Horrible defense, bad offense. TAMU wins, UNC Loses (how sweet).

So many stories.

Agreed. All except for A&M. Those are men playing boys. Glad we are not Michigan or Gonzaga. I had the Zags in the final game. Not so sure anymore.

The tarred ones had a real exam to pass, and failed miserably.

Aggies were very, very impressive in throttling the tarred ones.
Doubly sweet for yours truly.

I saw what you did there. :P

If Karma is a thing, UNC won't touch another crown for the rest of eternity. And upsets like yesterday will become a routine occurrence.

I knew you'd like that, Governors! :-)

PS: Display your crimson and blue garb proudly today and all week, just so the Tarholes in your midst know from whence their program came.

And one other comment:

The ONLY bad thing about A&M crushing the Tarholes so thoroughly is that it erased from the record book the fact that UNC's previous worst tourney defeat was the curb-stomping we put on them in '08.

But alas...sometimes we all must make sacrifices for the general good. :-)

My Aggies have so few NCAA tournament moments of note. I think we can happily give them this one, yes? :P

And to be fair, they never let the tarred ones make a run at them late as our Beloved Birds did in that NSF, so they did earn it all the way. Rather reminded me of the 1984 Georgetown Hoyas with junior Patrick Ewing and freshman Michael Graham, playing not just big, but HUGE! (Anyone else see the TAMU-tarred ones game and have their own comparisons?)

If nothing else they gave our Jayhawks a chance to put more distance between the tarred ones and ol' KU in the All Times Win record book.
:woohoo: :P B)

PS - I was ticked when A&M turned tail and ran away from tu for the SEC, but I will readily admit that I do not miss having to deal with KU playing them in conference every year. No question who I'm rooting for, but it is not to far afield from having two children playing against each other. I just hate it that one is going to lose to the other.
