Dang them killer bees! Stung the much bigger Bruins!

First NCAAT win since 1970 (7th overall) with Bob Lanier, who was injured, so DNP back then against ... UCLA!. Coach dedicated game to Lanier.
School best 26th win for the season.

65-58 St Bonaventure to play Florida Thursday night.

Defense!

Didn’t have a horse in the race, but any time a Bruin falls....it’s a great day!

Well, that's the second of the 2008 FF that won't be back this year. Memphis didn't make the field, now UCLA down the tubes. Coupled with USC's double OT win at home in the NIT, not exactly a glowing endorsement of the Pac-12.

Especially since UNC-Ashville's coach blew that game twice for his team with bad decisions, one at the end of regulation and one at the end of the first OT.

He did not use his last timeout at the end of regulation to get his team poised and set up to take and make the game winning shot. Result was they floundered out at the perimeter for what seemed like an eternity before heaving up a buzzer beating prayer that missed.

With a 3 point lead and time running out on what turned out to be the last possession of OT1, he did not have his team foul the USC player so he would not get a chance to shot a three -- which USC did to tie the score and send it to OT2, where they finally won.

I got that one right. Too bad no points yet. I would count that as an upset!
