Newman’s 3-point statistics suggest that he is the most sensitive on the team to nuances in the various models. He has shoots .462 with the Wilson, .323 with the Nike and .130 in the other five games.

I’ve heard reports that
1. KU told adidas that the ball KU would use was not part of the deal, and
2. KU uses the Wilson because it *is* the ball used in the NCAA tournament.
Who says Self isn’t focused on the postseason?

Who knew? Though I will say that, having gone through so many basketballs over the years as my son progressed in age, the brands, textures, feel, and "stickiness vs. slickness" is a thing. And for the record, my favorite ball of all-time of my son's was a Wilson. A very expensive Wilson! (Too bad it's one size too small for his age now)
Wilson it is. Now keep shooting at that torrid clip for 6 straight games!

Just asking.
(Yes, I do love Tom Hanks in "Castaway". Some of his best work IMO.)
