Amazing.

The tournament’s most valuable player sizzled with 72 points (24.0 average), the most ever by a KU player in the Big 12 Tournament. Paul Pierce had 67 points in the 1997 inaugural event.
I love the fact that he also hauled in 6 rebounds tonight and 6 yesterday against Statie. He is one of the better rebounding guards I can recall. If you don't believe me, watch him closely going forward.
Congrats to Malik, and congrats to the Hawks!
