Assuming Silvio plays the same going forward as we saw the last three games, are we as good or better with him than with Dok?

Having both will be huge (pun intended), but he's a monster on the boards and already one of the best finishers around the hoop that we have.

Dok dunks, but his rebounding and offensive finishing is not as good as Silvio.

Granted, what a problem to have. But they both bring something different I think. Dok is almost automatic from 5 feet in, but for some reason his rebounding skills are just average. Silvio is a rebounding machine, has excellent post moves for his age and not counting today is a decent FT shooter. I will add however these last three games have allowed him to get comfortable as a scorer as well. Not sure which is “better” but again, poor us to have such issues. What I hope I do NOT see is some attempt at a 2 bigs offense thrown together in the next four days. Dance with the one that brung ya I say.

Unless HCBS has been working on the high-low in practice lately, I doubt we'd see much of it in the tourney unless we play an early team with no bigs, then maybe he breaks it out...

My guess is that HCBS will go with what got you there. If Dok is healthy, I am thinking he will start, but it would not surprise me if Silvio gets the call if Dok fails to rebound to the liking of coach. Then again, coach's loyalty will be tested with Mitch. It should be interesting.

I would love to see them both on the floor at the same time, but we have played 4 guard so long I don't know how well it would go this late in the season. And why mess with something that is obviously working so well?

What I think we all probably expect to see is more Silvio and less Mitch going forward. Not that Mitch won't be getting minutes, but it's becoming pretty clear that Silvio is going to be getting a LOT more time on the court the rest of this season.

Back in December Fran said we were going to love SIlvio.

Yeh, baby!

Hawknmo, I think I jinxed the kid on his free throw shooting tonight after my effusive praise for his shot form last night! :-)

Thankfully he made up for it in many other ways. SO many other ways.
