ESPN story
"The school announced in January that it was the subject of an NCAA investigation but did not provide specific details. Hearst Connecticut Media cited unidentified sources saying the inquiry was related to recruiting."
Apparently Ollie not as good at the "recruiting game" as Calhoun?
Won it all in Year 2 with Calhoun's players on a ridiculous season ending win streak after a horrible regular season, but next to nothing since (1 NCAA appearance since 2014).
As long as they dont get a good young"ish" coach like Chris Beard, I'm glad to see the disarray. Further cements that UCONN really was Jim Calhoun.
Think they might steal Geno Auriemma from the women's team? (I don't think Geno would move, and I don't think UCONN would ask, but hey, it's a fun question...)

RKCKJHK!!!
No doubt there are some shenanigans taking place up there in Storrs, but in the HCBS KU era, the Univ of CONNs has 3 NC to KUs 1. Kinda tough to dispute that. Yes, “vacation” is a possibility but last time I checked 3>1.

First let me say that in my first post I was mixing up the 2011 Kemba Walker Huskies under Calhoun (they had the insane 11 game win streak after losing 4 of the last 5 games of their regular season) with the 2014 version under Ollie that had all Calhoun recruits (Srs and Jrs) starting and leading the way.
Second, what the heck are you talking about Hawknmo? I never brought up comparing NCs or "vacations" (huh?), and don't understand why you do. My explicit point was that UCONN was Calhoun, and Ollie only won that 1 title because he had Calhoun's players. He did nothing on his own with his guys, so he's gone.
I said nothing about UCONN's record before Ollie, and would never argue it (and never have). So why the heck are you bringing it up? Never took you to be a troller.
