“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
Great first half so far...

Visualize Whirled Peas
That's the Malik I was hoping to see all year.
It is also the Malik that I would hate to lose for next year if the rumors are true.
I really think he has the potential to be a huge part of next year for KU

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"
Here’s to Maik continuing his game, Svi continuing where he left off, and DG and Mitch/Silvio having solid H2s.
Heck, here’s to EVERYONE in C&B playing well for another 20 and earning another game for Silvio to learn in.

Agreed, Kong. Made that same point in the thread on his and Vick's rumored departure.

A great game by Malik all around, a career best. Here's hoping he stays "on" for a nice long streak of games!
