Jeff Boschee named coach of the year by a vote of the MIAA league’s coaches

"Boschee (Missouri Southern State Univ. - Joplin) was named coach of the year by a vote of the league’s coaches after directing the Lions to their second 20-win season in his four years at the helm. The Lions, picked sixth in the preseason poll, finished second and defeated regular-season champion Northwest Missouri twice."
