Here’s why one KU staffer kept pointing at Devonté Graham during Monday’s win
"It was only a small snippet of Graham’s standout night. KU coach Bill Self lauded him for his defense on star Oklahoma guard Trae Young, who finished with a season-low 11 points on 3-of-13 shooting. Graham played the scouting report well, forcing Young away from his dominant right hand while not giving him space to pull up for rhythm jumpers.
“I take pride in every matchup,” Graham said, “but I definitely felt like I played pretty well defensively tonight.”
Then, in the second half, Graham became KU’s version of Young offensively."
