Been a season ticket holder for several years and this game was most fun of all. It was a total party from tip to buzzer. Raining 3’s. Silvio’s breakout. Dunks and alley oops galore. Couple Sooners in front of us and they looked miserable. Beautiful stuff...

Especially sweet as I can remember the Billy Tubbs days in the late 1980s!

For the first time in a long time we got to see this team with all 5 cylinders cranking, and maybe for the first time this year, we got to see it for a complete game. Now, if we can do that for 6 games in late March--Look Out !!!

Eric,
Tubbs was my all-time favorite conference coach to dislike, even more than Norm. I found myself wishing he'd still been at TCU when they were brought into the Big 12 so that we could name the new conference the "You Can Run but You Can't Hide" conference.

Billy Tubbs was deliciously evil. Kind of like Lex Luthor or some other exaggerated comic book bad guy. Norm was just a plain old jerk.

I would have loved to be in the stands last night when Lightfoot decided to host his little block party in that 2 minutes stretch, and threw in a nice hard dunk just to top things off. Loved the game last night, but loved that stretch the most.

Was at a function here in Lawrence where Tubbs was the guest speaker, why I do not know, about 5-6 years ago. He was a jerk as a coach and is still a jerk. Had no time for for him and many, but not all, of his players.

I have been a season ticket holder since about 1973, and I have not seen a poorer defensive effort by a "quality" opposing team than what I saw from Oklahoma. Young is a really poor defender. The KU players eyes lit up when they found themselves, especially Devonte, being isolated and guarded by him.

Yes indeed, and TT is not going to be nearly as accommodating -- especially at home -- as OU. Nonetheless, in HCBS I trust,
