Just finished (finally!) watching the recording of the game and again come away really appreciative of Bilas. He was complimentary of the players and critical of the officials, who did deserve his criticisms.
However, from what I know of the rules and what I just saw (over and over and over and over again), Bilas was wrong on calling Dok’s last block a foul. Dok went straight up, kept his arms straight up and never brought them down as Miles crashed into him with enough force to send him twisting away into the lane — and Miles careening to the ground with arms flailing akimbo after running into a nearly immovable object.
Clean block all the way. Dok maintained verticality, never dropped his arms, he’s entitled to the space as he was there first.
Great game, big guy, great game!
