like an old timer whining about kids today, but... . Very much liked Cole's words last night as he had his jersey hung in the rafters. Said a lot of nice things, and thanked plenty of folks and fans.
But he dressed like a slob. I didn't expect a tux, suit, or even a sport coat, but could he have at least put on a nice pair of slacks and a decent shirt? Guess I shouldn't have been, but I was embarrassed for him. I hope Sherron doesn't dress like that tomorrow.

Seems to me, Wilt wore the same thing when he came back for the 110 yr celebration. I thought Cole's outfit look appropriate for a basketball game.

From the commercials....I think “untuck it” is a style. I like Cole w/some hair and the tooth.
Speaking for myself.....the only way you’d get that jacket off me is from “my cold, dead body!”
Rock Chalk!
(I’ll be surprised if Sherron wears a suit/tie. He looks like a casual kind of guy to me!)

actually I think Wilt wore the nice slacks and shirt I mentioned, plus the letter jacket. The letter jacket is fine...but Cole wasn't just attending a basketball game, he was being honored, and a significant honor in my opinion.

untucked most definitely is a style. have no complaints with that, just the overall appearance. But clearly he didn't care, so why should I? I may be completely wrong, but I would think Sherron will dress better.

Apparently Mrs Cole doesn’t influence his dress, or he doesn’t take her advice.
Had a family do recently. A cousin swore the event was casual enough that he would wear jeans. He arrived in a nice pair of black (not denim) pants.
I said, “I thought u were gonna wear jeans?”
His response, “I was told I couldn’t!”
I laughed.

Seems ironic to me, the only comments (at least that I've seen) on this board about Cole's ceremony were mostly about his attire. Maybe he can't carve a clothing allowance out of the $7.5 million he's making this year.

It'll feel better when it stops hurting
I remember when you dressed to go to Church and we Episcopalian girls had to wear hats!. I also remember when you dressed nice to fly. Those days are over, my friends.

Jo-Jo was pure class. I seem to recall Danny wearing a suit and tie or at least a sport coat when his jersey was honored. Anyway, this old timer will let it go.
