I don't mind the Baylor loss as we were never really in that game. It happens.
But that OU game was in the bag and should have been a W. With that we would still be tied for first. Either way our destiny is in our own hands and we have to win out to be certain of it. A huge game agains WV coming up. Normally I would feel okay about it as we are in Allen Field House, but the shaky performances we have witnessed there of late do not instill a great deal of confidence. Add in ESPNs game day distractions and it makes me just that much more nervous.
Devonte is what little heart this team has. He gets lost in traffic from time to time, but I think the 4000 minutes he seems to log in each game may be part of the reason for that. Svi has to get back on track with his shooting. Vick and Newman came through tonight. I hope they continue to be solid for this team, because we have no room for error with this team.
Dok and his rebounding continue to confound me. But this team will not become a dominant rebounding team anytime soon, so I guess it is what it is.
