What if Selfs critical comments have backfired?

Since he called some players out without naming names this team has sucked. I think his plan might have backfired. These guys seem too weak mentally and I think they are far worse than they were. Newman was really coming along and Svi was playing out of his mind. Now they flat out suck. Vick has really all but disappeared. If 9-10 points on sub par shooting with silly turnovers is the production we were expecting then OK. I was expecting at least his early season form...

I thought Vick worked hard this game. 9 points on 9 shots is not real good but it is not terrible either. I always look at it as if you have fewer points than shot attempts you did not really help the offense. That is obviously overly simplistic but I find it a good starting point when looking at stats. 0 of 3 from 3 point range is not very good and that to me has really been the problem. This team needs to shoot close to 40% from 3 to win most of the time. When we shoot under 20% we will not win many games. This is such an uncharacteristic HCBS team. Last year Josh Jackson made the 4 guard line up not get demolished on the boards but we do not have that player this year to go with our strong senior point guard.
