They are either completely worn out, mentally broken, really not that good or just in a slump. I would say this is the toughest conf in the nation and the way they look the last few games is understandable but since we didn’t even win the SEC challenge I don’t feel it is. So I really don’t know what’s up. I think the only way they win #14 is by backing into it with help from other teams.

I vote for “worn out.” Can we just concede the conference and rest up for post season? Maybe rested, we can have some success.?

look, forget the standings. the streak is over. this team is too tired, too thin, and too short to get there. they've done a good job to get to 8-3, but now their best guys aren't playing their best(too many minutes?) and their flaws are all too apparent. And this year, there are simply too many of them. Guys are trying hard, this team is just not that good.

Heres what I see. Fools gold might be an accurate assessment of how this team wins. They are not very deep, not very good at FTs and they dont hit a lot of layups. If they are even decent from 3 there is a good chance they win. Pretty flimsy. The rest of the league is really pretty close except for Tech. I mean really..WVU loses at home to OSU? I just don’t see many losses for Tech in the next few weeks. They are without question the most consistent team. Not saying they are far better than KU, they are just consistently good. It won’t be the possible loss at Lubbock that costs KU #14, It’s games like OSU and possibly today.

agree with all that too. when other teams really extend the d and make it hard to get open looks for the 3, well... .

Agree with the above.
Still had their chances today, though.
If that block on Lightfoot is properly called a charge as KU was finally seemingly in sync, who knows how the game ends up?
But as we always say, got to play well enough that the refs don’t decide the game for you, and we clearly did not do that today.
