This is why KU has won at least a share of 13 straight Big 12 titles.

asteroid reported today that Big 12 teams have racked up 13 conference road wins so far this season.
4 KU
2 each KSU, TCU, WVU
1 each OU, tu, TT

Using Jesse’s data, 8 of those 13 road wins game at the start of the season before Jan 3.
Only 5 have occurred since then.

Big 12 teams seem to have awakened to the importance of defending the home court since then.

A poster on another site noted that a few years back in the Big 12 only Texas had more home court wins than KU had road wins. (Don’t know if that is still true after Shaka’s troubled tenure.)

All this information underscores the reality that the offficiating in AFH should not really be the hot topic that it has been. This topic is clearly the biggest thorn in the side of every KU Big 12 competitor.

Historically, you need 4-5 road wins (and win your home games) and you're the champ. The fact that we hit our "quota" at the halfway point in the season is absolutely huge. The fact that 2 of those were at WVU and KSU, and it's just even more telling.

Now we need to take the next couple of games very seriously and not give up any unforced errors to the teams behind us. We SHOULD win tomorrow, but we need to go into it like we're underdogs.
