Great game. Young has 40 points, but Baylor is hangin' tough.

Man Baylor could have won! Missed a key FT with a few seconds left.

Baylor was down 1 when Jake Lindsey (of BU) got fouled with ~5 seconds left. He went to the line for a 1-and-1, but missed the front end and that was basically it.

And on top of that, Kentucky came back from 14 down (at home against Vandy) to take them to OT.

There was a drive by Young late under his basket where he went out of bounds underneath but got the ball passed into the lane only to have it passed back to him and he did an up and under for two. But, if you look back at it, he was never established back in bounds before getting the ball back. Positive break for Oklahoma.

Ugh! So close. Would have been nice to get some distance from OU.

Nevertheless this tells you something:
1.) OU is very beatable. We shoulda beat 'em, and Baylor shoudla beat 'em. That's a lot of fancy escapes (at home no less). I don't think that they're on the same level as WVU or Tech and predict that we'll handle them fairly well at AFH. Look, Trae Young got 40+ again, and it still wasn't a blowout.

2.) OU plays a full 40 minutes. One thing to say in their favor is that whether it's coaching, execution, or luck (or a combination of those) is that they know how to stay in close games and it's imperative to stomp on their necks when you have the opportunity.

First Baylor was up by 1 and took a very quick poor shot that left plenty of time on the clock and then they foul the OU player trying to get the loose ball. Two bad things in one play. Then they miss the free throws.

Sheesh They handed that game to OU.
