Vick missed his first of 2 FTs with 1:53 to go in the 1st half.

From that point on, KU was 16-16 from the stripe for the rest of the game.

H1
1-2 Vick (made 2nd FT)
2-2 DG
H2
2-2 DG
2-2 Dok!
1-1 Newman (+1 situation)
2-2 Newman
2-2 DG
2-2 Newman
2-2 DG

13-13 in H2
16-17 including Vick's 1st missed FT over the last 21:53 of the game, 16 straight after his miss.

Granted the streak was almost entirely our two best doing the yeoman's work -- with a little 2-2 celebration for Dok stuck in there -- but the difference between halfs? Incredible!

H1
0-2 Dok
1-2 Newman
0-1 Dok (+1 situation)
1-2 Svi
1-2 Vick
1-2 Vick
2-2 DG

6-13 in H1 v 13-13 H2

Also have to wonder -- how did KSU only manage 1 trip to the foul line in the 2nd half?
H1: 7-9
H2: 1-2

Must have brought some of that AFH home cooking west with them to Bramlage.

Self switched to the 3-2 zone which was brilliant. That was followed by the Jayhawks executing the 3-2 zone brilliantly. That was followed by Weber watching his guys get chewed up by the 3-2 zone, unable to get decent shots. That was followed by Weber failing to recognize he needed to change his team's strategy. That was followed by Self recognizing Weber was failing to change his team's strategy. That was followed by Self keeping his team in the 3-2. That was followed by his team continuing to execute the 3-2 brilliantly.

Well you get the cycle. Bottom line, Weber never adjusted and we turned them into a shooting team and not an attacking team. Thus, fewer likely FT attempts. Self showed why he his twice the coach of Weber.

Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!
