I'm really impressed...

This team is really impressing me. If Self had pulled Dok, like he should have, they'd easily be 8-1 right now. That's just nuts. Instead they are 7-2 and looking pretty good to win the next two. And the good thing is they have two of the three top teams left at home. So we look pretty good right now for #14!

I'm really impressed that we played so much Zone defense (much needed from my perspective).

And how about Mitchfoot! Does all the little things to help the team.

I also liked the zone and the “if it’s ain’t broke...” attitude. If they are going to go 6-27 from 3 no need to change.

On the other side of the coin how about this stat....every KU player had at least one TO? Not sure Ive ever seen that even against WVU.

Regardless, a really good W. Keeps the pressure on all the second place teams and not KU. I also thought it was a good W for HCBS for all those who thought he might be slipping after one somewhat debatable call. Sticking with that zone was really smart. It appears to me he is gaining some trust in it.
