Oklahoma and West Virginia laid eggs yesterday in the Big 12/SEC Challenge. Thus, they dropped in their rating resulting in Kansas and Texas Tech making up a little ground. KU now has a 50.1% probability of winning the Big 12 (at least a share). Rounded off, we are projected to win 13 games (rounded up from 12.7) and Oklahoma (12.3), West Virginia (11.7) and Texas Tech are projected to tie for 2nd with 12 wins. Round 9 has two very interesting games. The most critical game is Kansas travelling to Kansas St.
Texas Tech hosts Texas which should be a win for Texas Tech but Texas is on an upswing and Texas Tech is really missing Zach Smith. A KU win is pretty critical but a loss is not a killer yet. I have KU favored by 1.6 points and a 54.3% probability of winning.
