Just saw on ESPN that he’s signed with a Bosnian team? Maybe I missed that on this forum.

Since this was -- TTBOOK -- not a health issue driven thing, we stand a much better chance of learning what happened down the road once it is clear that KU has not been adversely affected by this beyond not having Billy for this season. Might take a few years, but somebody somewhere will tell the tale, assuming anyone is still interested by then.

I'm already moving on.
Check that. Make it past tense - "moved on."
I can only speak for me, but the fact that my confidence in ever seeing him play this season had dwindled to around 5% by this week has made this far less of a body blow and more like a barely-felt graze.
Onward and upward. And for the record, I won't allow this sour episode to tarnish the name of the REAL Billy Preston...
“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
...assuming anyone is still interested by then.
