This team HORSE v Rugby

To win a lot of basketball games it is useful to make opponents who want to play HORSE grapple in the lane ( Sort of like HCBS'S early Illinois teams) and to make opponents who want to play Rugby have a track meet with a three point shooting contest.


Great either have a mixture of players some who excel in one and some in the other, or have a group of players that can do both. This years Hawks can play HORSE, but the Rugby not so much. We fear the paint for good reason.

I would pay good money to watch a game between the five players on rides who,presently, can't suit up versus the starting five with either Newman or Garrett.

my earlier point exactly. devonte and svi go of course at yrend. assuming all the rest come back its not at all unlikely that none of them start next year. the four transfers plus the five ( hopefully) recruits cld well be our first 9 players by year end next year. obvi vick and doke will get good minutes espec early in the year. this rebuilding year after tieing the conf championship record cld well be selfs gambit to win another national championship next year. we will have by far the most talented and deep group of individual players ever on one ku team ( espec if we get the last recruit). and the only way to be that talented AND that deep is to do it with transfers which obvi costs you in one year. not writing off this year of course but buckle up for next year!
