KU falls to 3rd in Big 12 Probability

On the strength of Oklahoma's trouncing of Northwestern, OU passes KU for 2nd. But KU's probability increases slightly. KU now is projected to win 11.7 games to OU's 12.1 and Texas Tech's 12.2. KU has a 15.3% probability of an outright Big 12 championship and a 27.2% probability of a shared title. It appears to be down to 4 teams with West Virginia being in 4th. West Virginia plays Fordham today and that will finalize the Big 12 pre-conference games. I will lock in the pre-conference probabilities tomorrow.

I have to think that the addition of De Sousa, even though it will take him a while to get up to speed, will change these odds pretty significantly. No way to really capture that at this point, though, given al the uncertainty around him.

Am surprised TCU doesn't place higher. Their game at home vs OU on Dec 30th may tell a lot. Have a feeling this will be a rough year for KU. Agree about your comments elsewhere about KU's biggest problem - lack of ball handlers past Graham.
