The AT&T guy comes by this morning to check my router and sees all the many KU, Jayhawk, hoops related paraphernalia throughout my humble abode. Spying my biography on the good Dr. Naismith (Cal Bear brought me from the Naismith Memorial in Springfield) sitting on a shelf. "I went to high school with his granddaughter" the guy says. "Where?" I asked. "West Virginia" he says.

Go figure. All roads lead to Lawrence; or, six degrees of James Naismith . . . .
