Player Ratings

OMG!! If the Jayhawks could maintain the player rating per minute in this first graph for the entire season we could go undefeated. Of course, when the tougher games come, these ratings will diminish. But my gosh they are gaudy. A championship caliber team needs 5 starters averaging north of 0.7 per minute and all starters should be above 0.6 per minute. It may be less than top notch competition but these numbers are crazy. Better than last year for sure. Vick is going crazy. I hope he can keep this pace up.



As for the Oakland game, Dok was en fuego. Even with his obscene rating of 1.26 per minute it was only the 4th best of the season. And don't look now but look at Lightfoot. This is easily and far and away his best game by a long shot.



It is interesting to see the progression on some of these players. It will be particularly interesting to see if Lightfoot can continue his upward trajectory. Azubuike has had an even more impressive upward trajectory. Svi has been consistent with a couple splashy games. Malik has been consistent at a decent but not great level. Vick is on fire as is Devonte'
