Need to change OAD rule at NBA level, but NCAA needs some changes as well to make rules better for student athletes.

Most talked of change for NBA is allow drafting straight out of HS, but players opting for college instead won’t be considered for 2 years instead of one, similar to MLB’s 3 year version.

An NBA twist would be for teams to be able to draft player out of HS, but if player opts for college, NBA team could still draft player anyway and retain rights to player for 2 years. Might spark more interest in CBB from pro fans, watching their future players compete in college.

NCAA rules need to change so player can enter draft out of HS and still retain eligibility if player isn’t happy with draft results.
