Mitchell Robinson- Thanks but no thanks

I know everyone always says "I trust Self to know what's best for the program", and I believe that.

But, this is about my own on-going interest in the team. I have ZERO interest any more in these recruits, and transfers, who clearly are about their own future. I don't blame the player or his handlers, but I just don't enjoy having them associated with KU. This Western Kentucky guy leaves in the middle of the night without a word to the WKU coach. Now he's down to KU and New Orleans (really??) and now possibly going back to WKU when he realizes the NCAA may not roll over and let him play at KU this year. Maybe he should have thought of that before skipping out in the middle of the night.

Self can keep recruiting him, but I for one would prefer we stick with the guys that want to be at KU and have already shown up.

I'm betting we have lots of intermittent surfers for another month or so, and then . . . . tsunami!!!!

Sorry, AZ. Bay is correct. I look regularly. Not much to say, now.

I do get a bit queasy when we pick up some players from other programs....especially if they have acted out a bit. I'm sure fans of the team which took Bragg feel the same way. Hope he pans out. Time will tell for him; as well as our newbies.

For now.....fingers crossed.

Odds are, if he came here we would spend thousands of dollars trying to get him elgible this year--and fail--and have him practice and learn for a year, only to bolt for the NBA before he ever plays a game. Western Kentucky can have him.
