Bill Self has perfect response to ex-Missouri chancellor
"Thursday, former Missouri chancellor R. Bowen Loftin blamed Bill Self for the Kansas-Missouri rivalry’s continued suspension.
Among other charges, Loftin alleged that he came to Kansas chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little with “a lucrative offer on the table for the Border War to restart at Arrowhead Stadium.”
“The problem was a man named Bill Self who made it very clear this wasn’t going to happen,” Loftin told AL.com.
Loftin went on to say that he thought Texas-Texas A&M had a better chance to restart, in large part because Self “has a big ego.”
