And a quick note on Drew Gooden... clearly getting his degree was important to him, and his walking down The Hill today is a testament to his perseverance, a credit to KU's academic support system -- especially Scott "Scooter" Ward -- and a symbol and example for all future KU athletes, as well as everyday students, of how valued degree completion is by all involved.
ROCK CHALK TO *ALL* KU GRADUATES THIS SPRING!!!
Keep on bringing honor and pride to the University, the long line of Jayhawks that came before you, and all future Jayhawks who follow in your footsteps ad astra, eyes gleaming!
