P.S. -- our students of the language will note that I removed the conjunction and replaced it with the appropriate preposition in the original title. Pet peeve. Feeling peevish. What is a peeve, anyway? What does one look like? Where are they from? Why are they? When are the okay in polite company? These things bother me sometimes -- but not today.
