Whether these two stay or go could hold the key to whether KU rebounds as a power in hoops next year. This article spells out how close the two are, which may not be widely known. It will be interesting to see if each one's decision impacts the other's calculus.

Thanks, Konza63. Personally hope they are both back next year, both for themselves and the program. Get their degrees, get a final chance to impress NBA scouts, and get one more shot at that elusive FF and NC. Especially since iirc this year's draft pool is really guard heavy? (Someone please let me know if I'm wrong on that.)

With the remaining available talent out there to add to the roster for next year, to me there is no question that G & M as seniors would be far more valuable than anyone Bill could find to replace them.

Whatever they decide, I wish them all the best.
