This was a quick back and forth via email with one of my students (Eric). He wrote me an email today (Sunday) to offer support for the Jayhawks. And Eric is not a sports fan so it made me appreciate his sentiments even more.
Eric: GO JAYHAWKS!
ME: Thanks Eric, but unfortunately they lost last night.
Eric: At least they learned from that experience and will do much better next year. #LookingOnTheBrightSide
