The OSU AD is nuts. He let Underwood go and then hires an assistant with no resume at all. Why? The answer is money, and as strange as it sounds, OSU is taking the cheapest road possible. Just makes no sense.

When did T Boone Pickens go broke if the answer is money? OSU has gone from pursuing HCBS as a possible head coach in the past to this? Interview the sitting assistant coaches and Gottlieb.

What in the world is going on? Underwood bailed out without warning seemingly and now no real search of the coaching ranks for a replacement. Nut house run by one of the crazies.

Interesting thought, sasnak. Calm the waters and keep the recruits mollified until they can get the guy they want. But since availability is a function of who's still playing (NCAA or NIT), who is still playing that would consider the OSU job? Unless they are looking to someone from the NBA and not the college ranks.
