Serious supposition -- start Vick over Svi

We have all noted Svi's defensive merits this season.

I have read at least one opinion (not from an RBCer) that Svi fouling out was a major factor in KU coming back to win. KU played much better D with him on the bench.

I find myself in agreement with that supposition.

I love the kid but I fear your hypothesis is correct. I noted last week that it seems so many of the opposition's threes are over Svi's outstretched arm.

But if Vick starts, does that mean that Svi would replace Graham or Mason? Yes, Svi could take the 3 and Vick could then slide over to the 1 or 2, but I think I'd rather have Vick come off the bench to replace Graham or Mason and have coach's fresh instructions in his head.
