I do not understand the refs calls quite often. This game with WVU is no exception. A prime example is when a guy has a layup or a dunk. If our guy brushes him we get called for a foul and give up the three point play. When Svi goes in for a dunk he gets pushed in the midsection with the outstretched arm of the WVU player and no call. I guess since he did not push him so hard he missed the shot they felt it was not a foul. It appears to me that it is the WVU method. Foul on every play and then the refs will only call the flagrant stuff and the little nudges and bumps and grabs will not be called against you. Then when the other team tries to get past your grab or bump with a push or a shake that team gets called for a foul.

The season has been less fun n for me because of the poor and inconsistent officiating.

Svi looks better the second half though,

The Zebras are not. They call Frank for brushing the defender off but don't call the defender for the stiff arm on the shoulder when we try to go around. They let WVU push and shove and as long as "in their opinion" it did not effect the play they let it be. We try to fight through it and they call us for the foul.

They are getting the rolls and banks, KU can't get much to drop through the cylinder, FTs or from the field. Brutal.

Is it an understatement to say this in uncharacteristically poor play at home? Serious shooting drought when you're already behind and wasted trips to the line. Nobody...and I mean NOBODY...wants to shoot a 3. Not that they would make it considering the cold touch tonight.

Good thing they set the sound record early on. Nothing to get loud about now.

Frank still feeling the effects of whatever bug he had Saturday and maybe a little cumulative effect of the minutes/game? Good to see him finally connect from 3 and end that 8+ minute field goal drought.

Breathe some life into this. Finish well regardless.
