Good to hear. I wasn't in the mood for any more hoops coverage after KU went down, so I turned off the tube and didn't read any sports articles today--though I did read Newell and Bedore pieces last night, after the game.

There are no dominant teams at the top this year, it appears. I fear our ceiling is quite limited due to Doke's season-ending injury and Bragg's non-breakout, but if the latter can change AND if we can ever discover how to play defense (which years ago was obviously KU's calling card), we have some upward advancement left in the tank.

Here's hoping both happen.

Regarding Bragg's non-breakout soph season and Udoka's injury, it's interesting how they've each been viewed. The board and the pundits have talked about Bragg, but I feel like I rarely hear Udoka's name mentioned. He was playing very capably and I feel confident saying that his improvement was going to continue at a rapid rate (I just got that sense.) With our short-handed front line, he would have been such a crucial asset. It's not quite like losing an Embiid, but it's still huge. Granted, you have to play with the pieces you have, but anything short of an elite 8 will definitely have people (or at least me) saying, "what could have been?"

Florida State #6 scored 15 points in the first half against GT. They didn’t win.
