KU men’s basketball slate complete with four Big Monday contests
"Kansas will make four appearances on ESPN's Big Monday for the 11th-straight season, according to the Big 12 Conference schedule announced Thursday by the league. KU's first two Big Monday contests will be on the road: at Iowa State on Jan. 16 and at Kansas State on Feb. 6. The Jayhawks' last two Big Monday battles will be inside historic Allen Fieldhouse: Feb. 13 vs. West Virginia and Feb. 27 vs. Oklahoma.
In the Big 12 era, Kansas and Oklahoma have faced each other on ESPN's Big Monday 10 times, including last season's KU 109-106 triple overtime instant-classic victory. The Jayhawks have played Iowa State on Big Monday on eight occasions, Kansas State seven times and West Virginia twice.
CBS will broadcast two KU contests, Jan. 21 versus Texas in Allen Fieldhouse and Feb. 18 at Baylor. Staying in the CBS family, CBS Sports Network will air the KU at UNLV game on Dec. 22.
For the first time in Big 12 history, league play will begin in December. Kansas will play at TCU on Friday, Dec. 30, to start conference competition."
