"When I was a freshman, I remember Coach Naismith telling us how important it was to play good defense." - Mitch Lightfoot
First off, congrats to Coach Dooley on beating the tar out of FDU tonight. Always happy to have somebody from "the family" in the dance.
Watching WSU/Vandy now, and I can't watch WSU without thinking about Fankamp. He left KU looking for more PT, but is only averaging 17 minutes now. Based on Frank's injuries last year and Graham's newness, it's likely he could have been in Devonte's slot this year, or at least splitting time with him.
So rather than playing for a championship, and collecting Big 12 rings, he's riding the bench in the play-in game. Wonder how much regret he deals with, or if he's actually happier at WSU.
In any case, I hope he's happy, but it's gotta be a thorn in his side every time he sees KU on the news this year.

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
You forgot Kevin Stallings, Vandy head coach and a former KU assistant.
Speaking of which, some observers say he's on the hot seat and needs a win tonight to save his job. If his players think there's some credence to that, it'll be interesting to see how hard they play down the stretch.

Forgot about Stallings.
Maybe Self will put in a good word for him and he'll wind up at OSU or TCU, lol.
