DPPI Bracket

I thought the FF was set up so that the match ups were:

Winning team from #1 1 seed's region versus Winning team from #4 1 seed's region

Winning team from #2 1 seed's region versus Winning team from #3 1 seed's region

If all the 1 seed's made the FF, that would match up (according to how I heard the CBS guys rank the top seeds):

South KU v West Oregon
East UNC v Midwest Virginia

Since all the brackets I am seeing show South v East and West v Midwest, I must be wrong in this.

What's the story? Did I hear the CBS guys wrong? Or is the #1 v #4 1 and #2 1 v #3 1 not the case?
I'm not available to check my DVR right now or I would.
