I was somewhat amused by the commentary over the final minute of play by the announcers to be sure that Brannen would not violate the end of game decorum today. I must admit that when he crossed midcourt and began making some moves toward the lane, I got a little fidgety. He dished it to the corner and the ball ended up in Manning's hands. The comment was, "Now it is in the hands of a coach's son. He knows what to do."
Unfortunately, the press won't let that thing go.

After thinking about it, I think I would like to see Brannen crushing a meaningless dunk in victory at the end of KU's Game 6 of the NCAAT -- "just because he could."
(Isn't that the right phrase, Bay?)

Correct-a-mundo! And then the other team says, "That's messed up.".
