Well, thanks to a post from Porthawk last month where I saw my name listed as being missed, I decided it was time to jump back into the depths of what I consider to be the best discussion of Jayhawk basketball on the net. Somehow, I got lost in the move (that's why I haven't moved in 31 years) and never did make the effort to join back up once I figured out where you all had gone. The old link I had in my favorites quit working and I just figured you all were gone somewhere into cyberspace.
It's nice to be missed, and I will try to do my part in adding to the discussion. Thanks Port, and others for the love!

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"
