I have felt he could be it for a few games now. I even whispered to myself when Frank fouled out that this could be a blessing-- Devonte could step up and did he ever!!

Great offensively, but maybe even better on the defensive end!

Exactly what I was thinking. Frank has the heart of a champion but I do think hes a half step slower than Devonte. Great job on D but I also believe Devonte runs the point pretty well. Huge 3s today as well.

I'm not sure we found the leader quite yet but that is one of the greatest games by a Jayhawk in recent years. If he is even close to that than yes, we have our leader. What a game. Way to go Devonte'. But make no bones about it, the defense today was outstanding from a team standpoint. With the exception of Greene on a number of possessions, Bragg pretty much every possession he was in and Traylor to some degree, this was the best team defense I can recall. Blocking picks, help defense, clogging the lane, playing to the scouting report and staying in front of their men. What a great defensive game.
