Not being an NBA follower, I was unaware of the Captain America like history that led to Steph Curry becoming the superstar he is today

What a nice story about, by all accounts, a genuinely nice guy. Clearly Durocher was inaccurate in his assessment.

P.S. - stories like this always make me wonder how long a career Gale Sayers might have had if he had the advantage of modern medicine. Truly a shame that his exceptional star was extinguished so soon.
