Tried to update my avatar this evening with a JPG file and the program keeps telling me I need to use a .gif, .jpg, .jpeg or .png file.

But I am using a .jpg file, and it's not accepting the edit.

Worse, now I can't get it to accept my old avatar, also a .jpg file.

Any ideas what may be the issue?

I tried reducing the file size in case that might be a limit, but no joy.

It was accepted without problem.
