So I went to buy my favorite brand of walking shoe, the one which has cost around $60.00 for at least 2 years. Turned out to be a shock and awe-ful experience. Now it was $93.00!

I could think only one reason why there was such a jump in price. After all, lettuce was $0.59 a head, then suddenly became well over a dollar, so I figured this was another result of the crackdown on illegal workers.

I didn't buy the shoe but Googled its name, and guess what? It is made in China.

Hmmm.

Before Obamacare:

$800 monthly premium (family of 3)
$500.00 deductible
80/20 coverage
All providers were "in network"

After Obamacare:

$2,000 monthly premium (family of 3)
$6 500 deductible
60/40 coverage
80% of providers no longer "in network"

Hmm......coincidence?

I'm not sure what the trade war with China has to do with health care, but evidently you do.

There are many signs of rising costs, and I am sure you have researched the costs of the ACA. I will point out that when it was passed, it was known to be flawed, but the plan was to improve on its cost and effectiveness. Research will prove that this effort has been blocked at every turn.

While we do not agree on many, or any issues, at least it is nice to have some dialogue on the political board.
