... our chances of landing another highly touted local kid -- Isaiah Simmons, younger brother of Victor Simmons -- go up dramatically, too. Keeping my fingers crossed, getting one or both of them would be huge for Beaty & Co.

Not the least of which is that it makes a statement to KSU that we will keep in state talent and that they no longer have their pick of the talent.

Plus it is a step in the right direction of upgrading talent in the future.
