KUSports.com - Beaty: started over 30 short on true scholarship players in 2015, should be over 70 for Fall 2018 season
Damn Turner Gill for what he did with the program, and damn Charlie Weis for dismissing so many of GIll's players instead of trying to rehab them. KU hasn't had a full load of scholarship players since Weis' first year, when he sent 29 players packing.

Back to back horrid hires. Gill actually looked promising based on Buffalo. Sure wish Nebraska had nabbed him before we did.
Then hiring CW seemed a desperation move designed to get better fast. But aside from brings in slow recycled QBs he does the opposite by running off all the ( poor students) athletes who might had blocked and caught for them as if he had a decade to build to ND type standards.
When coaches fail to meet a minimal standard of competency they should forfeit their buyout or most of it.
