House on Pooh Corner...

There used to be a house in Lawrence that had Winnie the Pooh painted on one corner of it. Does anyone remember this? Was in the late 70's. Probably there a long time before as well. There was a story behind it or a connection to A.A Milne, but I can't recall it or anyone else that remembers it.

So I figured I would toss it out here. Anyone remember it and if you do, the story behind it?

Just so folks know I am not totally whacked out of my mind (just partially)

I searched around and found this www2.ljworld.com/weblogs/in-simple-words...mber-things-we-miss/

with a singly reference to "Pooh Corner 1300 Ohio"

You had to know someone would post this... Loggins & Messina: House at Pooh Corner

Enjoy!
